Mister "No Tank You"
My two year old is my daily dose of laughter. Some days that dose is served when I am trying to lay down the mama-laws, which as you can imagine, it's hard to lay down the law when you start giggling at the offender.
So. Situation A.
Bridger has become Mister My Way or the Highway with some ordeals, but the daily battle is what the kiddo wears. Yes. My boy cares about what he wears. (What?!) Even right down to his diaper: Mickey and Minnie or Mickey and Pluto or just Mickey or Tigger or Winnie the Pooh. Today he wanted his short-sleeved baseball shirt (mind you, most shirts are named "dasedall shirts", but this one really has a baseball on it). Fine. Wear you're baseball shirt. But since it's cold outside and we were headed out the door for the 9am chill, I, being the law making mother, put a sweatshirt on him. Oh no. Apparently it was only a good idea to me. So as he worked on undoing the zipper I had just zipped-up, he looked at me and firmly said, "No tank you. No. Tank. You. Mom! No Tank you. No coat." Well what the heck was a supposed to do? Lay down the law when my hyper 2 year is remembering his manners and saying no thank you to a coat? I don't think so! I giggled, kissed his cheek and caved as I thanked him for being so polite in his request. I must say, moments like those feel like a win-win.

Testing, testing 1-2-3
Hellllo blogging world!
I would be lying if I said I wasn't totally proud of the fact that I finally stepped up to the plate and joined the Blog Nation. Here's the thing: I absolutely enjoy reading my friends' blogs about their darling lives as well as the lives of those I only know through what they post. I appreciate the fact that I can feel as though I live next door to my friends and family even though the reality is that miles or jam-packed schedules are separating us. So. Here I am. A new proud member of what seems to be the greatest way to keep the miles short between all those I adore. Here we go - let the blogging begin!
